Going to FDDI - what are the steps?

Hello all,

We have a couple 2100/A500 systems running 3.0 and 3.2 of OSF (someone
*has* to come up with a good abbreviation for "Digital Unix"!!!).
Presently they are networked via the internal Ethernet adapter. We have
DEFPA-AA's (I think that's it - DEC's PCI FDDI adapter for single attached
stations) that we'd like to install.

What steps do we need to follow? I'm somewhat new to Unix system
administration, so don't be afraid to be explicit...

                    Thanks in advance,

                            Ed
