My Original problem was trying to disable a port that was already
defined for LAT . I setup the port with LAT with the following command:
/usr/sbin/latcp -A -p "tty_port" -H "server_name" -R "port_name"
To disable the port what I must type is
/usr/sbin/latcp -D -p "tty_port"
So I can reuse the port with another LAT Server without rebooting the system.
Thanks to jnolan_at_ibm.net for the response.
(And thanks also to this great e-mail list)
