I am resending this because it seems that the sun and osf mailing address
cannot be specified in the cc: field of the header.
I am looking for a fast and reliable server to be my news server. I am
currently running my news server on a dec server using LSM to stripe two
disks. But it seems that the server is running rather slow because of
the high I/O transaction of the news spooling data. Anyway I uses advfs as
the file system.
I would like to seek any comments regarding the servers with
the right OS, right file system and I/O controller which can handle news
spooling data well.
