Hi all.
You might remember my struggle with our loaded system and trying to figure
out what was causing such crappy performance. I have had Digital SUpport
log into the machine and run their own tests and so on, and their conclusion
was the same as mine. The system is simply saturated and needs more CPU.
So I am glad that I hadn't misconfigured something or my intial diagnosis
was correct.
I thought I'd tell you all for any one who was interested in hearing the
result of this long drawn out process.
Thanks to the various list members who have been so helpful to me with
ideas, and tests for the system.
