Hello Everyone,

My question was how come when I do a backup of a filesystem to
another filesystem, the capacity of the destination filesystem
is not equal to the source filesystem.

The answer is:

>'vrestore' truncate sparse files, i.e. files containing zeros are truncated
>thus freeing up space.

I tried cloning it before, and had the same results, i.e. the filesystems
had different capacity as well. However, I think it is best to clone the
fileset before I vdump it to another filesystem because now I understand
the behavior of the utilities.

Thanks to all who repsonded to my question; your suggestions were all GREAT:
