Hi all!
I've recently changed the internal IP adresses from
1.1.1.X to legal class C IP's. All seem to work
"almost" as normal. But when I log on, the computer
seems to hang for 1/2 minute, and then I get logged
in. (Some sort of timeout, don't know what!) And
the other hosts have problem with mounting the
Alpha disk. Ie. I get the following in
/var/adm/messages (on Sun4.1.3):
> Sep 13 18:01:03 ung automount[120]: mikke:/usr/mikke: server not \
responding: RPC: Timed out
I started 'etherman' on one of our Sun's, and I discovered
that my Alpha host is broadcasting some kind of DECnet
package to the following Ethernet adress: 09:00:2b:00:00:0f
Anyone know what this is? It's definetely not on our
network. Anyone know how to debug/track down the problem?
Any/ALL help appreciated!
