My original question was:

>My AlphaStations 200 4/166 are locking up about once every two weeks.
>Someone logs out, and the keyboard stops responding.
>I've tried restarting every daemon I can think applicable, but
>only a shutdown -r now fixes it. (You can still remote login)

>The system is V3.2 rev 17, I use twm and athena style xdm.

>Has anyone else seen this? Is it a bug in the Xserver?
>thanks,

So far I've gotten a few "me toos", a suggestion to add -terminate
to the Xserver file (which I'd forgotten to do anyways), a suggestion
to keep the keyboard plug out of the way (if you unplug the keyboard,
you lose it) and a possible hardward error.

Still I've they randomly lockup, and I know it's going
to get worse when the traffic in my lab increases soon....
I'll post another summery if I ever find out how to prevent this.
