Retiring accounts

Hello folks,

        Im running V3.2 and using NIS on a 2100.

        The on-line help for retiring accounts in
        XSysAdmin states that "the UID can never
        be assigned to another user".

        Is this correct? You cannot use that uid
        ever again?

        Maybe theres a delete account option which
        removes an account and then allows the uid
        to be assigned to a new account if required???

        Any thoughts?
