Hi Digital Unix managers,

The graphical card in question is 210888GX with 2MB of DRAM
and the card does not come from DEC. Will that be a problem?
Thanks advance for your repsonse.

We have a new AlphaStation 200 and suppose to hae pre-installed
OS running 3.2c. I have also upgrade the firmware to version 5. We
use a ATI Mach64 bits graphic card and a Sony Multiscan 17sf. I can get
the console prompt, but when I have problem in bringing up the Operating
System. I even try to boot from the distribution medium - CD-ROM, but
without success. After the following message, the console become
blank:

Loading vmunix....
Switching to OSF PALcode succeeded....
Loading into KSEC address space...

I made sure that CONSOLE variable is set to graphics instead
of serial. So what is the problem? Any suggestion is welcome. I tried
to get Digital Techincal support since yesterday, but still have not
hear any reply from them :(
