My original question was:

>Where can I find truss to look at system calls and signals?

Thanks to the following for the replies (especially Sherry, who went
the extra mile) :

Benoit Maillard
Knut Helleboe
Kim Greer
Paul E. Rockwell
Sherry Q. Moore

- Barry

Summary:

Truss is included in the SystemV environment package (SVE) on the
Complimentary Layered Product CDROM ("cdlp"). You need a System V
environment license to run it.

There was an article in UNIX Review (Oct. 95) that does not seem
to mention the source, but the author was Dinah McNutt
(dinah_at_sysadmazon.com).

There is a similar tool named trace which could be found at:
ftp://al.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/pub/alpha-trace-*.tar.gz
(I was unable to log in to this site. However, the
trace program is currently maintained by Anthony Baxter
<anthony_at_aaii.oz.au>.)

My opinions are my own... who else would want them?
