hi all, someone else mentioned that an upgrade to 3.2C broke gcc. well
it happened to us as well, here's what happens during a compile:

mips-tfile, /tmp/ccaaxcCa.s:0 index 4294967295 is out of bounds for lstrs, max is 0, mips-tfile.c line# 4643

same error message if you are compiling hello.c, or as the above comes
from, a recompile of gcc.

Anyone know what we can do about this? heck gcc won't even compile
itself !

PS: looked in FAQ's and etc. if someone posted a remedy here earlier I
    must have missed it :(
