SLIP + automount at the same time?

Hi!

Is there any body using SLIP & automount on DEC Alpha, OSF/1, at
the same time? On my Dec Alpha 3000/900, OSF/1, v3.0, I have to kill automount
job before starting SLIP. Otherwise NFS just hung.

Any suggetions?
