Thanks everyone. I had a few me too's and explanations of how I could set this up
myself, but the best (read least work for me) answer came from
buck_at_bigsur.printrak.com. His answer also matches what I heard from NCD:
We use touch screens all the time on our product. We currently use a capacitive
technology based screen from Microtouch. We are looking at other technologies
right now including resistive and sonic wave. So far, we have always received
the driver for the touch screen from the same company, Trident systems. We have
received hardware from different vendors, but the software driver always comes
from Trident. Trident has a good list of the touch screens they support on OSF.
Here's the name and number for the sales guy at Trident:
Pete Snyder (703) 273-1012 x496
Good luck, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
