Colleagues,
we managed to configure two ethernet cards in a OSF1/2.0 AXP 2000/300 system.
After starting the routing daemon we realized that it self-advertizes a
0.0.0.0 route with the highest possible priority. gated does not do it
such badly but sends via the campus line RIP information with 16 hops
(inaccessible) for world hosts to the cisco box. Is this behaviour
expected? Suggestions how to avoid this are welcome.
