mail files locked

Hi All,

Occassionaly some of my users have a problem with thier mail files in
the spool directory.

They seem to get locked and I have to delete or move them for mail to
start flowing again.

This is a network of Alpha's running 3.2 and 3.2C

Here is the output...

> /usr/lib/sendmail -v greg </etc/motd
greg... Connecting to (local)...
about to exec
wally:/local/home/jj
> binmail: cannot lockf /usr/spool/mail/greg
Mail saved in dead.letter


Any ideas?
