Several days ago I saw a message regarding the location of Firmware upgrades
for Alpha systems via ftp access. I did not see a summary and so I thought
I would send this out as it is of general interest. Upgrades can be found
on the internet at
http://ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware also
of interest is
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/Alpha/firmware/interim
which has new firmware that has been released since the last CD. This
site also has the instructions for downloading and installing the firmware
using several methods.
Hope this is of some help to those looking for firmware upgrades,
