We were considering just this kind of configuration, but this sounds
like bad news. (This isn't the first post I've seen here complaining
about DEC's FDDI implementation either.) We'll probably try to get DEC
to support the KZPSA card instead, and get a third party RAID tower
with a built in controller. (And hold off on FDDI till it matures)
