My original question is:

We have a Alpha Server 1000 which is running Digital Unix. By
mistake, I
have used a PC/OS2 keyboard (from Digital as well) pluged into the VT510
terminal. It worked as a terminal fine without any garbage.

However, I could not use 'F3' function to setup the terminal
setting. When I
replaced the PC KB with VT510 original KB. The 'F3' worked correctly.

Now, I would like to know is it possible to use a PC keyboard like a
terminal
KB? Is there key mapping (or key combination) to simulate the
terminal KB?

Here is the original reply from Alfred from Digital. Thanks a lot.

On a VT510 with a PC style keyboard, press CapsLock-PrintScreen or
Alt-PrintScreen to enter Setup. Once inside Setup, you can redefine
the key (any key actually) to enter Setup.

Dicky
