clarification of new Alpha firmware FTP/WWW area

I've had a bit of trouble getting this to the list, so if this is a
duplicate, please accept my apologies for the waste of bandwidth.

Hello,

It has been brought to my attention that there was an error in the
announcement of the firmware for *all* Alpha platforms being available
for download. Let my clarify by saying that only those Alpha
platforms whose firmware is distributed on the Digital firmware CD
(version 3.3 is Part Number AG-PTMWQ-BE in Kit Number QZ-003AA-E8.3.3)
is available in the download area. This does *not* include many Alpha
servers and workstations built by third parties using the Digital
Semiconductor reference designs or "clone" equivalents, but rather
only the systems that Digital builds as part of the Computer Systems
Division business.
