Automount suing alot of cpu

Hi All,

I'm running a mixed batch of Alpha's (3.0 and 3.2C and mips boxes
(4.3A and 4.2) that all have the automounter running.

After some initial problems everything seems to be running ok but it
seems (to me anyway) that the aumounter is using a great deal more CPU
on our server (AlphaStation 200 4/233 DU 3.2C rev 148 128MB memory)
than I would have thought. The maps are relativly small,
11 direct entriesm, 19 indirect.

Should this be considered normal?
