Hi
I am using Kerberos IV to provide authentication with dec terminal
servers. Recently, there has been a surge of complaints of
"Authentication Timeout" from my user who dial-in to my terminal servers. I
run the kerberos on my DEC7000 and this system is currently overloaded at
peak hours.
I am thinking of using nice to raise the scheduling priority of kerberos.
But I need to give a comfortable value to the priority so that kerberos
does not totally use the system resource.
Has anyone done such a configuration ?
Thank in advance.
Have a nice day.
Regards
