Hi Folks,
I'm trying to get the SCSI CAM Media changer stuff running on an
AlphaStation 200 4/233 running 3.2C with an HP C1553A
I've installed it and let the installation rebuild the kernal. I
rebooted and I can't make the device.
The MAKEDEV.MC is looking for /dev/mc_mkdev and tells me to boot the
kernal with the media driver installed.
I've done the installation twice (including the rebuilds and reboots)
and everything seems to install just fine. What creates
/dev/mc_mkdev. It doesn't seem to be MAKEDEV nor is it a file
installed with the kit. Is it supposed to be created at boot time?
The tape drive is in use now (and listed in the config file) as tz13.
Is this a problem?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
