lpd

I really didn't expect this to be a problem. I am trying to print some
files from a DU V3.2C machine. Here is the /etc/printcap file. This is all
that is in the file:

ln03|lp0|ln03:\
        :if=/usr/lbin/ln03of:\
        :lf=/var/adm/ln03-errs:\
        :lp=:\
        :mx#0:\
        :of=/usr/lbin/ln03of:\
        :pl#66:\
        :pw#80:\
        :rm=vaxdsk.mrs.umn.edu:\
        :rp=ln03:\
        :rw:\
        :sd=/var/spool/ln03:\
        :xf=/usr/lbin/xf:

When I have the 'rm' set to 'vaxdsk.mrs.umn.edu', a VAX running VMS V5.5-1
and Multinet V3.4, I get an 'unknown command received' on the VAX console
from Multinet. If I set the 'rm' to 'cda.mrs.umn.edu', a DECstation
5000/240 running Ultrix V4.2A, I get 'protocol screwup' in the
/var/adm/ln03-errs file. I can print fine from 'cda.mrs' to 'vaxdsk.mrs'.
Is there maybe something I have missed? Or is lpd somehow damaged?
