Hello managers,
When using the POP server supplied with D-UNIX 3.2a I am experiencing the
following:
I have a user "afsmith" for whom I have set up both a Unix and an email(pop)
account with afsmith entered as the user in the POP database. Now , I've
found that email closely related to this name still gets through to the
user. For example, for my machine name 'abc' the following all get through
to afsmith:
a.f.smith_at_abc.uk.ac
smith_at_abc.uk.ac
afsmith_at_abc.uk.ac
the entry in the alias file for this user is:
afsmith: afsmith_at_pop
Is this usual? How can I control this 'smart' method of delivery i.e. turn
it off?
BTW I have checked for OG in sendmail.cf and it is not there - something to
do with MATCHGECOS I believe.
Cheers
Paul Key
