disk full

Dear Gurus,

I had to rebuild the kernel to-day in order to add two extra disks.

After "ifconfig" and rebooting, I experienced the / partition to be 100%
full.

I don't know whether ifconfig is responsible but anyway: How do you trace
those well hidden huge files which should be removed (apart of the cores,
of course...)? There is certainly something somewhere which should not be
there...

Thanks!

Jean-Loup
