Hi!
I'm running Polycenter Console Manager on a 3000/800 with OSF/1 3.0B. I have
34 systems connected via DECServer 700s (with the latest software.) using
reverse telnet connections. One system is connected via a pseudo tty.
My problem exists in PCM versions 1.6, 1.6.1 and a strange non official
version I got from Digital Service.
My problem is that two of my three child controller processes dies leaving only
this cryptic message in the syslog:
Dec 18 06:00:03 gold POLYCENTER Console Manager[27845]: POLYCENTER Console
Manager - Version V1.6-100 - Console Controller Daemon : Child controller
(index = 2) abnormally exited, status 11
Dec 18 18:44:01 gold POLYCENTER Console Manager[27845]: POLYCENTER Console
Manager - Version V1.6-100 - Console Controller Daemon : Child controller
(index = 1) abnormally exited, status 11
When this happens I have to stop all PCM processes, including user processes
and
restart them. This happens a few times every week. :-(
Has anyone seen this behaviour? Digital doesn't have a clue!
