UBC Write Error

We are currently getting a large number of messages on our AlphaStation
200 4/100 (OSF 3.2) saying

UBC Write Error (70) on device (0,0), at block 0 size 8192

These error messages appear on the console. An identical Alphastation
is not having the same problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The system is still up but I don't know for how long.
Any idea what this error is ?
