I've received a number of responses, most pointing to swap, one about the
maxuprc kernal parameter. I found no swapdefault link in sbin, but i did
find it named swapdefault.old. It's dated oct of 94, way before my
time. the output of at swapon -vs is:
ocaxp1:anderson: swapon -vs
Swap partition /dev/rz0b:
Allocated space: 16384 pages (128MB)
In-use space: 1 pages ( 0%)
Free space: 16383 pages ( 99%)
Total swap allocation:
Allocated space: 16384 pages (128MB)
In-use space: 1 pages ( 0%)
Available space: 16383 pages ( 99%)
Does this lend more creedence to the maxuprc changes rather than a swap
issue?
Thanks
Jim
