I have a 2100 with V3.2c that has an FDDI card in it that I just enabled. My
plan is to switch over to the FDDI in a week or so, but currently both the FDDI
and ethernet are running. Also, the FDDI address is not being broadcast or
advertised at this point. The FDDI and the ethernet controllers are on
seperate subnets, and now I'm beginning to experience problems with the
ethernet controller. It seems at this point to be isolated to X terms trying
to connect via XDM, using the alpha's ethernet address doesn't seem to respond.
If I give the Xterm users the address to the FDDI controller, they connect no
problem. Have I created a problem (fortunately short-term) here? Should I
disconnect the FDDI until I'm ready to flip the switch? My routing table
currently looks like this:
Routing tables

Netmasks:
Inet 255.255.255.0
Route Tree for Protocol Family 2:

thanks,
dan
