   Hi All,

I am installing Tripwire on our Firewall machine, and want to store the
executable and database on a hardware write protected disk. I want to
use the floppy that is included on the Alphastation 200 4/166.

Is it possible to format the floppy for ufs? If so, how do you do it? I
read the man page on fd(7), and this mounts the floppy, but df shows:

Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
   /dev/fd 0 0 0 100% /mnt

Avail 0 is not useful by any means :-)

   Any help greatly appreciated.

   --Garry.
