SUMMARY: rcp, C2 and umask don't mix...

Thanks for the replies. I realized (and received confirmation from some of
you) after sending the original, that the -p option on the sending end will
preserve the permissions. I've done that and things are working. BTW, I did
try the other suggestions which were to add umask entries to .kshrc, .profile,
.cshrc, etc. and none of them seemed to help. Also, what I still don't know is
how to change the system wide umask under C2 to something other than 077. But
then again, maybe if one could change the umask, that would violate a clause
deep in the Orange Book, and then it wouldn't be C2 security anymore. Maybe
someone knows.
