Fast ethernet between 2100's

I recently bought two DEC fast ethernet cards and set up a
point-to-point connection between two AlphServer 2100's.

The devices are recognized when the system boots up, and you can
establish a network between the two, but the LED's indicate it's not a
100Mb/s connection.

Furthermore, we'd like to establish a full-duplex ethernet connection,
but the SRM doesn't seem to recognize the devices. The manuals that
came with the ethernet cards only discuss PC's.

Does anyone have 100-TX ethernet cards running in full duplex on
AlphaServer 2100's? If so, what did you have to do? What firmware
level are you using?
