We have a problem with AdvFS behaviour. It reports different amounts of
disk usage between df and vdump, which unfortunately causes all our
intelligent backup scripts to get really confused.

This is under 3.2c as well as under some previous versions that we have
tried it on.

% df -k /var
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
alpha#var 456080 24449 272680 8% /var

yet:

% vdump 9f - /var >\! /dev/null
path : /var
dev/fset : alpha#var
type : advfs
advfs id : 0x2f43e8a5.000ba03c.3
vdump: Date of last level 9 dump: the start of the epoch
vdump: Dumping directories
vdump: Dumping 47108952 bytes, 50 directories, 308 files
vdump: Dumping regular files
...
