NFS import of Netware volume

Hi,
I am trying to import a NetWare volume on an Alphastation 200 with the mount
command
        mount -t nfs -o soft NetwareServer:/apps /usr/NET
The mount does not work and reports the following message:

        NFS Portmap: RPC: Program not registered
Other mount commands to mount NFS exports from other UNIX boxes work.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is (NetWare/UNIX related ??)
