Problems with factory installed software on new 200 4/166 systems

We've just received four brand new AlphaStation 200 4/166 systems, ready
loaded with DU 3.2C. Installation until the system reboots with the
newly built kernel. Immediately after the msb0 initialisation (and before
the `tu0' message comes up) the system panics with a kernel memory fault.

I seem to be able to get the system to boot reliably with /genvmunix but
it doesn't seem to boot reliabilty if I use /vmunix from another identical
system. The only difference in the systems (as far as I know) is the
firmware revision, the new systems have got V5.2 firmware, which is the
version from the latest V3.2D firmware disk.

Any ideas, please?

Thanks,

Ray.
