  Hi !

I have couple of systems where we have problems with OSF update process.
I no that this process has something to do with UBC.

Is there anybody who can explain purpose of this process ?

Problem is that we have 3. party software which have big I/O-rate and
it seems to be that this update process cause also big I/O-rate.

Sum of these is VERY big I/O-rate. Our systems are then so slow that
response time for user requests may be e.g 10 second. Only disk light is
on
nothing else happening at the same time.

Cycle of the update process activation seems to be 30 second.

Can anyone give good tips to make my systems faster ?
