Thanks to everyone who replied, the named are really too numerous
to list. As someone pointed out, I incorrectly referred to the machine
as a DECStation 3000, which doesn't exist. :) ooops, wasn't thinking
there. Anyway, the problem was with the onboard video controller, and
the motherboard will require replacement by DEC. Thanks, everyone.
