Before I get into this problem I should explain something. I am fairly new
at Digital Unix and have really only used it for the last 6 months.
Previously I was using DG UX. If this is a silly question, please don't
flame me, just tell me it's a silly question.
We are running an alpha 2000. Yesterday the server locked and proceeded to
shut everybody out. The console itself also locked. After a reset I checked
the uerf log using uerf -R -o full. The following entry was in there:
********************************* ENTRY 2. *********************************
----- EVENT INFORMATION -----
EVENT CLASS ERROR EVENT
OS EVENT TYPE 199. CAM SCSI

x0028 LUN x0
TARGET x5
----- CAM STRING -----

----- CAM STRING -----

I should point out that this error occurred some hours before the crash.
Now, I'm new at this, what does it mean? As far as I can tell it is some
problem with the memory on the alpha. Yes, I did read the manual, but
couldn't find anything pertaining to it.
Thank you in advance, sorry if this is a silly question.
