SUMMARY: hostid returns 0

Hi,

I was asking why hostid returned a 0, while the command lmhostid supplied a
12 digit hex number. My main concern was how to find the hostid if the lmhostid
program was not present.

My final solution is, if lmhostid is not on the system use uerf and look for
the Ethernet Interface address.
