The answere is:
You can use the -D option to dump from certain point within the
directory hieararchy of a file set, e.g.
Asuming the mountpoint is /home
#vdump 0f /dev/rmt0h -D /home/user/dir1 /home
However there are no options, to exclude or select specific files below
the directory point, vdump is working on - all files will be dumped
(always level 0 when -D is used).
