hello all,

if you telnet to a dec alpha (DU3.2C) is there a way to set it to timeout
if no one enters anything at the login prompt? telnetd did not seem to
offer any options to do such a thing. i'd like for the telnet session to
terminate if a user doesn't enter his username at the login prompt within a
specified amount of time. according to dec this timeout is currently 4
minutes, but i'd "like" to make it somewhat shorter than that.

thanks in advance,

jeff feld
