INN 1.4 not "cleaning" up

I've been running INN on an AlphaStation 250 for about a year now with no
problems. About a month ago, the "daily" clean-up routine (which runs
expire) stopped deleting old files. My drives are filling up and throttling
my server. Even running expire manually doesn't actually delete anything.

I get the following error message:

(at the end of running expire manually or in daily routine) "Can't store key,
No such file or directory"

Any ideas?
