date problem not fixed ?

I am using DU 3.2c and I applied the clock.o patch
then regenerateda new kernel using the commannd

doconfig -c <machinename config file>

then rebooted ... but it lost the date again .. why ?

anybody know the solution to this headache
that already messed up my log files and my statistics
 :(
