Hello,

I looked through the archives and couldn't find any answers to this question:

We are already using the ethernet card that came installed on the
alphastation but we would like to put in the DE500 fast ethernet card
instead. If it is not possible to physically remove the onboard ethernet
card, what should we do? I wanted to run all traffic over the de500 and
dont think that it would be a value to run a routing protocol to
dynamically route packets over each interface...

Our situation is that the dec serves nfs clients as well as usenet news
and mail. In short I want to know how to replace the current ethernet
(onboard) with this new card or how to install the new card and move
traffic routed over the old interface completely over the new interface
(tu1?)

- Thank you!
