can't open osf_boot ?????

In order to optimize the machine, we have external disk for our demo
machine. When i try to move a disk, i receive the following message.

can't open osf_boot

Is it possible to recreate this boot file ????


I can't figure out what i did to produce this problem. We move disk few time
a week and this problem never append before

P.S. I could read the disk with disklabel, and i could mount the partition
       if i reboot with another disk.


Any information are welcome
