Q: How to find location of "unaligned access" message

When running a Fortran program that is being ported
from VMS Fortran to f2c+gcc on DU 3.0, I get
the following message:

Unaligned access pid=7137 <testrob.exe> va=14001a022 pc=12000e638 ra=12000f60c type=ldl

I cannot get the program to stop at the message,
even when compiling with the "-g" option
and using gdb.

1. How can I most directly find where the error is occurring?

2. Is this serious?

3. Should I be concerned?

Thanks.
