We have a DEC 3000/600 running DU 3.0b and a Decserver 2000 running DU
3.2c. We have NFS running on the Decserver 2000 and are mounting two
disks from the DEC 3000.
When we copy certain files from the NFS mounted drives, we get 'access
denied' error message. When we look at the files they have file
attributes of -rwx------. All the other files have attributes in all
thre areas. If we change the files attributes to look like -rwx-rw-rw-
then the file can be copied.
Why is this happening, and can we fix it so it doesn't happen again?
