SUMMARY: Re: Question about adding Barracuda ST1515N drives...

Looks like we have, in part at least, a question of 'Ask a stupid
question...'. Lack of sleep, limited knowledge of SCSI, and solar flares
led me to attempt to work magic with LUNs when I'm limited to LUN 0, and
well .. It don't work that way...

In short, use SCSI IDs 0 through 6, and let 7 alone because it's
typically reserved for the controller.
Another suggestion I received was that firmware revision 007 could be
upgraded to 14 on the RZ29s.
Thanks to the following for taking the time to point out a stupid
mistake on my part:

        Stan Huhman#HUHMANJohn Deere EW <huhman_at_rg.deere.com>
        alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com
        Michael Matthews <matthewm_at_sgate.com>

The only other question I have is whether or not I need to set up power
and or drive termination on any of the ST15150Ns. I've seen problems with
SCI CAM errors on similar setups, and think it might be traced to this.
The SCSI IDs work perfectly now that I'm not doing stupid things with ID
7, by the way.

Thanks again,
