DU unlmtd. user and NIS netgroup question

Has anyone been able to obtain the DEC unlimited user license (model 400)
PN: QL-MT7AE-AA/KGR for a price comparable to the Sun Solaris Workgroup
server license?

Secondly, is it possible to have the value to the right of the colon
delimiter in the /etc/groups file be a NIS netgroup?
