We have an HP40T here that I would like to use this on an Alpha currently
running DIGITALUnix V3.2C with the Digital HSM product.
Unfortunately to date I have been unable to have the drives recognised.
Firstly I'd like to know if anyone is actually using HP optical on Alpha
DIGITALUnix and secondly, if so, how you've configured this in the kernel.

We have 2 PMAZ turbo channel adaptors one with an EXAbyte tape drive on it
and the other with the HP40T on it. The tape tz20 tz21(seen as rz3 rz4
from cnfg tc0) is seen on boot but the Optical rz29 rz30(seen as rz5 rz6
from cnfg tc1) is not. Here is an extract of the uerf:
